“Tighten Up, Four’’ - A. Kenyatta Marshall

Kasey T. Morgan is the Chief Strategy Officer of the MyCom Youth Development Network (MyCom), an interwoven network of over 20 neighborhoods across Greater Cleveland encompassing at least 300 community agencies who provide afterschool and expanded learning programs. Kasey is passionate about creating networks capable of expanding positive opportunities for all youth.  Kasey is also the Ohio Representative for the National Afterschool Alliance and the Chairperson of the Ohio Afterschool Network for Northeast Ohio.

During her leadership of MyCom, the network has had an increase in the number of engaged neighborhoods, seen an increase in afterschool and expanded learning opportunities, celebrated a reduction in violent incidents and the escalation of events near hotspot schools, promoted a youth voice through neighborhood youth councils, and supported collaborative funding models to promote solutions to complex youth challenges.

In addition to MyCom, Kasey is also the Managing Partner of Executive Minds Consulting Group, a consulting firm designed to assist community organizations with strategic planning and design, and Your SHEeo, an organization that highlights female entrepreneurs and leaders, while also providing training and development assistance. She also serves as the Board President of the Do It For James Foundation, an organization that works with communities to provide support, increase awareness and education to both parents and children on crimes against children, with a focus on cyberbullying and suicide awareness.

Although committed to service to others, Kasey prides herself most on being committed to her family above all, and she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and a University of Michigan Alumna.
