Wisdom for Wednesday: Building Hope in Ourselves & Our Communities

January 25, 2023 @ 9:30 AM EST

The past few years have been difficult for many and especially children and young adults. More recently, having hope, finding hope, and building hope in ourselves and our community may feel overwhelming, and perhaps even impossible.

Join the MyCom Network for a special Wisdom for Wednesday event with Dr. Brett Zyromski from The Ohio State University as we discuss building hope.

In the session, participants will:

  • Recognize the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on our communities
  • Understanding the power of Hope and how it can be used to overcome oppressive systems
  • Assess their own Hope levels and gain resources for assessing children’s levels of Hope
  • Use a crowdsourcing strategy to identify strategies to increase Hope
  • Design and execute strategies for increasing their own Hope & Hope in their community
