Learn More About Our Presenter, Eddie Moncayo:
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and now calling Nashville, TN his home, Eddie has spent nearly 20-years in Staffing, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, serving in multiple capacities over TA and HR teams during that time. Eddie found his passion in healthcare recruitment, connecting high quality healthcare talent to organizations with the impact of creating meaningful relationships between healthcare professionals and the patients they serve. As an early adopter of technologies with a constant eye on the future, Eddie has driven transformation of talent teams to adopt and deploy new techniques and technologies in the war for healthcare talent.
As Vice President of Talent Acquisition for Premise Health, Eddie leads a nationwide team of recruiters and sourcers, responsible for hiring an average of 1500 people each year for over 650 health and wellness centers across the United States for large scale companies including many Fortune 500 clients. Eddie is responsible for creating diverse and targeted talent acquisition strategies to combat the various shortages in recruiting healthcare talent. He is dedicated to ensuring his team is optimizing their work through tools and technology and is always focused on recruitment marketing and branding to create a positive candidate experience.
Prior to working for Premise Health, Eddie worked with & for Vanderbilt University & Medical Center in Nashville for nearly a decade in several HR leadership capacities.
Eddie earned his B.A. in Political Science from Baruch College (CUNY) in NYC, his MBA from Bethel University, holds several certifications (STA, SWP, RACR), and in 2018, was awarded HR Professional of the Year Award by Middle Tennessee SHRM.
MyCom will enact our mission with race and equality at the forefront of our work as we always have. We will use our thought-leadership, funding, advocacy, and network to redesign service delivery. Together we will rethink infrastructure and create solutions that eliminate access to healthcare, cyclical poverty, access to quality education, housing stability, and other barriers that have impacted black lives.
