Beverly-Ann Burks

Beverly-Ann Burks is a native Cleveland and proud graduate of the Cleveland Public School System. Ms. Burks received an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Cincinnati in Social Sciences and a Master Degree in Public Administration from the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University, where she was selected to be a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow. She has also been certified as an Economic Development Specialist and as an Adolescent Reproductive Health "Walker Talker".

Ms. Burks currently serves as a Network Manager for MyCom Youth Development Initiative. In her tenure, she serves as a member of the MyCom Intermediary Team, working with Community Based MyCom Coordinators, as well as working with young people on special projects. The work of MyCom is based on the Collective Impact Model. The Intermediary Team has worked with several national organizations and Think Tanks on Collective Impact and Youth Engagement.

In her leisure time, Ms. Burks enjoys reading, NFL Football, crafting and spending time with her daughter and family.

MyCom will enact our mission with race and equality at the forefront of our work as we always have. We will use our thought-leadership, funding, advocacy, and network to redesign service delivery. Together we will rethink infrastructure and create solutions that eliminate access to healthcare, cyclical poverty, access to quality education, housing stability, and other barriers that have impacted black lives.
